A Pair of DMIR Diesels

Duluth, Missable & Iron Range SD38-2 #209 was built by EMD in 1975. The loco had its set of problems - an engine failure in August of 2003 was replaced with DMIR #222's engine. Another engine failure in April of 2007 caused the new owner, Canadian National, to retire it and strip it of parts at the Homewood shops. Rail fan Hugh Blaney took this color roster slide which is now part of my rr collection.
